Infiniti has made its long-awaited maiden BTCC run ahead of the season opener at Brands Hatch this weekend.

The manufacturer-supported team is expected to race two rear-wheel drive Q50s for the 2015 championship, driven by Derek Palmer Jr and Richard Hawken. However the team's preparations have been badly delayed after a slow production of its cars meant it missed the official BTCC test at Donington Park.

The Q50 car had to be rolled on to the Donington grid for the pre-season photo grid shoot but the team has now confirmed the car has run a full shakedown at Mallory Park.
