Derek Palmer Jnr will drive the sole Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing Q50 during this weekend's BTCC season opening round at Brands Hatch.

Palmer completed the Q50's maiden laps at Mallory Park earlier this week but technical issue's with the all new Infiniti challenger quickly prompted the team in withdrawing its second entry for the Brands Hatch round.

The announcement means Richard Hawken's BTCC race debut will now happen at Donington Park, two-weeks from now.
