WIX Filters will remain as Ciceley Motorsport's title sponsor for a third 2016 British Touring Car Championship season in a row after making the announcement ahead of this weekend's Silverstone round.

Since joining forces with WIX for the 2014 season, the Mercedes A-Class squad - racing under the WIX Racing banner - have cemented their position as serious race winning contenders, courtesy of two victories and numerous podiums coming from Adam Morgan.

Delighted with the news, Morgan believes WIX's involvement with Ciceley Motorsport has been 'a massive driving force' in propelling the BTCC winning outfit to new heights during the previous and current campaign.

As the season nears it's climax, Morgan currently sits seventh in the drivers' standings and is on course for his best finish in the championship while WIX Racing enjoy a slender five point lead over Andy Priaulx's Team IHG to hold fifth in the teams' table.

"This is absolutely brilliant news. WIX Filters really are a part of our family team. WIX have been a massive driving force behind-the-scenes in promoting the team and helping to make us to gain respect within the BTCC paddock," said Morgan.

"There are two events left in this year's campaign and now we can go into the winter with the knowledge that next year is already organised."

Managing director of WIX Filters, Wayne Stevens echoed Morgan's delight of the deal while also noting his approval of the team's rise through the ranks since engaging the partnership in 2014.
