Motorbase Performance's Mat Jackson has remained the man to beat around Silverstone after once again setting the quickest time during the second and final British Touring Car Championship free practice.

The Ford Focus ST driver continued his exemplary form around the national configuration of the Grand Prix venue and went almost 0.5's faster than he managed during FP1.

Jackson settled for a 58.557 second lap but the Motorbase Performance man hinted there may be more left in the tank of his Ford Focus after aborting his final flyer.
