Mercedes-Benz A Class
Now an established front-runner in the British Touring Car Championship, WIX Racing's Adam Morgan continues to go from strength-to-strength following another competitive campaign for the Mercedes A-Class outfit.
Morgan ended 2014 in the winners' circle for the first time in his career after benefiting from a post-race stewards inquiry and the WIX Racing driver entered the 2015 season intent on taking his first 'on-the-road' victory, while also adding to his tally.
An early string of top-ten results – including third place at Donington Park – proved the Mercedes package was once again a force to be reckoned with and Morgan duly converted the A-Class' pace into a commanding victory at Thruxton.
Proving his Thruxton victory wasn't just a flash in the pan, Morgan went onto score four further podiums during the remainder of the year but a second win of 2015 eluded the WIX driver.
Morgan could well have won at both Oulton Park and Knockhill but freak luck and ill-timed penalties quashed his hopes in dramatic circumstances. Nevertheless, a joint best championship finish of seventh was still the fruit of Morgan's labour.
