Have your say: Should Plato have won race three?

The third race of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season opener at Brands Hatch provided the main talking point of the weekend, after contact between Jonathan Adam and Jason Plato while dicing for the lead.

Heading into Paddock Hill Bend, Adam ran into the rear of Plato's Chevrolet, sending the former SEAT driver into a lurid slide that he was lucky to save, but allowing the BTCC rookie to take the lead.

Adam went on to win the race for Airwaves BMW before being handed a post race penalty, which handed the win to Plato and dropped the Scot down to second place.

It's led to much discussion from fans about whether it was the right decision or not, with reference being made to forceful moves made elsewhere in the field over the course of the weekend – most notably at Clearways where there was contact between cars on more than one occasion.

So what we want to know is, was the right decision made in race three and should Plato have been awarded the win?

So here's your chance to have your say...
