Gordon Shedden stormed to victory in the second Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race of the weekend at Thruxton.
Starting from sixth on the grid, Shedden worked his way forwards through the field to move into the lead and once ahead, he was able to extend his advantage at the front to take the chequered flag more than three seconds clear of second-placed Jason Plato.
The MG came strong as the race wore on as Plato battled ahead of early leader Mat Jackson, who was forced to defend from Frank Wrathall through the final laps to secure his place on the podium.
Fourth for Wrathall was still his best result of the season ahead of Matt Neal
and Dave Newsham, with Rob Collard, Aron Smith, Tony Gilham and Andrew Jordan.
Chris James was the only retirement after going into the barriers while defending his position at the complex on lap seven, while Dan Welch's Proton was withdrawn from the weekend with mechanical issues.
