Gordon Shedden extended Honda's winning run in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season with a sixth victory of the season in race two at Croft.
Shedden ran third at the start behind Rob Collard
and team-mate Matt Neal
but both Honda men were able to get ahead of Collard by the end of the first lap – with Shedden then moving into the lead at Tower. From there, he wasn't troubled as he took victory with Neal second despite an engine issue that caused him to pull off after taking the flag.
Third went to the Audi of Rob Austin after he fought his way up the order to pass both Collard and Andrew Jordan, with the pair following him home in fourth and fifth. Tom Onslow-Cole
completed the top six.
Jason Plato came through the field to finish in seventh after his issues in race one, while the top ten was completed by Frank Wrathall, Andy Neate and Nick Foster – the latter earning pole for race three under the reserve grid draw.
Mat Jackson joined in for a lap at the end having missed the start as his team completed an engine change.
