Thompson takes third race.

VX Racing's James Thompson took victory in the third race of the day at Brands Hatch in the British Touring car Championship.

Thompson made a good start to leave race two winner Luke Hines behind and drove faultlessly to the chequered flag. Anthony Reid was once more on the podium, taking the second place a mere seconds from Thompson. Anthony was also off to a strong start, but ultimately didn't quite have the pace to challenge Thompson, though the VX Racing driver

Rob Huff continued to show his class today at Brands with yet another strong race where he worked his way to close in on Yvan Muller and pressurise the Frenchman, but not make it past the reigning champ.

Behind Huff was the second WSR car, Tom Chilton and Matt Neal.
