Muller does double to close on Neal.

Yvan Muller did the double by winning the third race of the day in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship whilst championship rival Matt Neal suffered contact with Jason Plato to see his title lead eroded at Mondello.

Muller was magical once more at the start of the race and once past early leader Tom Chilton the VX Racing driver had it easy.

Chilton kept it clean in his pursuit of Muller, though he was being closed in by the battle-scared MG of Rob Collard who put in a sterling performance despite being attacked by seemingly the entire rest of the field.

None of the SEATs finished, as Pickford, Hines and then Plato all retired.
