Jason Plato tops FP2 at Croft for MG
Jason Plato sets the best time of the day so far to pace the second BTCC practice session at Croft, going half a second quicker than Gordon Shedden, with Rob Collard's BMW slotting into third place – giving three different makes in the top three spots.

It's a difficult session again for Speedworks however, with Paul O'Neill unable to set a time due to continued throttle related issues.

I won't go near this road. When cycling along there 10 years ago with my son, he was knkecod off his bike into the hedge very close to where this accident happened. As someone who also drives down this road sometimes, I've noticed how the sun seems to glare particularly badly along this stretch too.
