Andy Neate

Some argued that the second seat at WSR should have gone to someone else, but in Neate’s defence, the fact he was even on the grid at all after a huge accident at Silverstone in 2008 was one of the stories of the season. Although he did manage to break into the points, Neate would have hoped for more regular top ten finishes and fewer trips off circuit in his first full season but even if he doesn’t return for 2011, he can relax in the knowledge that he has achieved his dream of competing in the BTCC.
