Well fanboys, what do you have to say about "the half a second advantage" that Lulu took to Mercedes ?

I'll be honest I always thought Nico was a fairly average F1 driver, So now we have Lulu beaten over 3 years by Button who you all think is crap and now he's being outpaced by Rosberg who I thought was average! Where does that leave Lulu?

It leaves Lewis the only driver to beat JB twice in the same car while JB was a champion, and it leaves Lewis leading Nico in the piont standing. Hope things are more clear now

@T

"It leaves Lewis the only driver to beat JB twice in the same car while JB was a champion..."

Oohhhhhh, so NOW JB is a champion and not a slow midfield driver?

"and it leaves Lewis leading Nico in the piont standing..."

You've got to be kidding me!! All we hear from the Hamilton fanboys about Button scoring more points than Hamilton is that he only did it because Hamilton had more retirements than Button so it didn't count.

Now we have Hamilton out scoring Rosberg and it's because Hamilton is good??? We've only had 5 races and Rosberg has retired from 2 of them with mechanical failures and been told by the team to stay behind Hamilton during another of the races. Just so little LULU would be protected and get on the podium that was rightly Rosbergs!

And now Hamilton is getting thumped in Qualifying too!! HAHAHA - the fanboys trump card, Hamilton's qualifying, is now being pulled away from them too!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

t. yep, lulu is ahead of nico this year, SO FAR. but why? well, nico had a dnf, and he also had team orders which deprived him of points. but this is only the first half of the season and who knows how the remainder of the year pans out? the simple fact is that nico and lulu are similarly paced, and if you think that nico is not that good, then, ergo, lulu is not that good either.

maybe shumi in his later days wasnt that slow??using the hamilton/rosberg comparison..he may have been out qualified but not always and certainly not in all the races.how would the fan boys go with shumi beating lulu in a race in the same car?

bob , cant speak for other Lewis fans but i have never said Jenson is slow but yes is slower than Lewis but since 2011 drivers with natural speed like Lewis as had to adapt to tire management instead of racing and as equaled 1-1 Jenson with the tire situation being in Jensons favour as he is naturally less aggressive on his tires. On the old Bridgestones Lewis was just to fast for the then current champion and once Lewis learnt that he could not race JB in the style of 2010 by 2012 Lewis restored order by finishing above of Jenson like he did in 2010 that makes it 2 seasons Lewis finished above JB FACT.

As for the points thing i was just answering ty's question.

richard what ever the reasons to why Lewis is leading Nico in the standings the driver that has been at that team for three years and defeating the driver who is statistically the greatest ever. So again i was just answering ty's question, and as for Nico being on par with Lewis, i agree iv seen smoe posts on here with people saying that Nico is the best German driver in F1 and that was before Lewis came to Silver Arrows as sensible f1 fans can tell a quality driver without him being in a top car.

Nico and Alonso are the only drivers i have seen give a focused Lewis trouble in the same car although in 2007 a rookie should not have been able to challenge a current double world champion we will never see that in our life time again
