Having been judged to have acted in good faith during its contentious Pirelli tyre test, Ross Brawn believes that Mercedes is now 'blemish free'.

Yep, the slate has been wiped clean - with a greasy rag, leaving oily streaks and bits of gummy rubber behind. On what planet is this guy from? The findings were that they violated the rules, and they were sanctioned for it - weakly and timidly, but still sanctioned. Whatever results they achieve now will carry the stink of the illegal test - no matter how much they wish it were not so.

Or at least as blemish free as you can be in F1. Those who complained the loudest are among the most blemished in F1. It kind of reminds me of when I worked in retail. The employees who complained the most about shoplifting were the employees who were stealing from the business.

Ross is a canny operator but he can't escape the fact they were found in breach of two regulations and the 'judges' said they got of lightly.

RBR and Ferrari do push the rules....but they weren't caught.

Somehow the FIA don't get hammered for getting the kids from the local primary school to write the rule book.

Yeah, after listening to the must be two years older to whats actually written in the rule book, its no wonder Mercedes felt they could wing this by.

But I disagree, I believe the people who write the rules know exactly what they are doing, some times rules are written with the express intent for loop holes to be run through. Merc just decided to take a gamble after getting the okay, FIA should be ashamed of itself really though, how ambiguous do you need to write something?

Ross Brawn the Cheat thinks all is back to normal. Ask anyone in prison if they are innocent of any crime and their answer is yes too. the only reason why you and your team got off lightly is because you are playing with a stacked deck Ross Brawn
