Well it seems that the research and development on the MP4-28 will be halved for the rest of the season with them concentrating on the 2014 car. This could see the Mp4-28 without a win this season, and the last time that happened was in 2006 I think when Kimi,Montoya and Pedro went the whole season without a win. Funny thing is that from 2007 McLaren have won at least two Gp in a season even when they have not had a good car. It seems coincidental that these facts seem to run with the arrival and departure of a certain driver, real interesting.

Ghog, It's amazing to think that McLaren won 148 races, 125 poles, 394 podiums, 8 constructors championships and 12 drivers championships Pre Lulu, how on Earth did they manage that?

No they didn't they had 2, Hakkinen in '98 and '99 and a constructors championship in '98. They've had one drivers championship since and no constructors championships so to say Lulu turned them around is pushing things a little.

Hakkinen won 2 titles but he is one person or one driver, Nobody is saying Lewis turned them around, Alonso said McLaren is not a reliable team that the only title they won recently was won at that last corner of the last race.

Jamal, Oh I see since Hakkinen is one person that only counts as one championship?

So Ferrari have only really won 9 drivers championships, not the 15 the record books claim? This is an interesting way of looking at things....
