Still no Guintoli, what is going on whit that?

I don't think you will see Guintoli for a couple of reasons. I think last year showed that he is not prepared to push that final 1% on some of the more dangerous circuits in the UK (I am certainly not going to criticise anyone for that). I don't think it was a coincidence that his best results of the season were at the more 'GP' tracks. I think this will put the teams off from signing him. And to be honest for exactly the same reason I don't think he will want to race in the UK.

We all love our 'unique' tracks (Cadwell, Oulton, Knockhill, Brands etc.) but if you take off the rose tinted specs some of them are pretty dangerous. I think this was brought into focus with the British talent cup schedule of rthis year. As it is a Dorna run championship it has to be run on MOTOGP standard circuits and we only have 3 that meet that spec in the UK (Donington, Silverstone and Snetterton). This is why to make the 6 rounds we they are at Doningotn twice, Silvertsone and Snetterton once with Assen and Valencia making up the other 2)

Guintoli is a class act and wants to be on the world stage. It looks like he is doing a fair bit of testing for Suzuki and might get some MOTOGP wild cards so I think that is what he will do.

Young Mackenzie bringing budget to an under financed team - doubtful if he will get the best equipment or time to learn the superbike before pressure is applied for results. Shame he needed a lower profile team to learn his trade. Where is Bridewell riding this year - Halsall - Moto Rapido - back with WD40 ?

So no bridewell then anyone know what his plans might be? Shame to lose a character and talent off the grid
