First win caps fine week for Plato.

Jason Plato capped a fine weekend on a personal level with his best weekend of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season at Donington Park to secure the first diesel-powered win in the 50 year history of the series.

YES A DESRVED WIN, BUT JASON WAS LUCKY WITH THE CARS AHEAD OF HIM FALLING OFF, SUPRISINGLY IT WAS'NT PLATO PUSHING THEM OFF!!!

LONG LIVE GIO

In motorsports, I will NEVER call a deserved win the victory obtained with a regulation advantage: Plato's diesel is an engine with the same capacity as its petrol-engined competitors, but it has a turbocharger whereas petrol engines are aspirated. I have NEVER seen any kind of motorsports where aspirated and turbo engines compete in the same category with same capacity.

BTCC as WTCC and Le Mans are now nothing more than commercial showcases for diesel manufacturers.
