He would be no 1 if he was in a maclaren or ferrari. Then a good mix of the best of the rest with no BMW?? Fisi with an unbeleivable first days practice and putting Force India in the top 10. It's faster than his old car crazy stuff. The clincal boring BMW's very dissapointing with Buttons Honda beating one of them great to see. I thought Torro Rosso would be a little better but are probably where they should be considering. Williams back to their normal unreliable self wich is a shame. Day 1 very interesting!

It's amazing how well the Regie is running now that the master of the set up is back at the wheel. What a difference he is making already.. Looks like Lewis can set his own car to his liking.

F1Tos, Webber would be no 1 what exactly ? He couldn't even beat Coulthard last year. See 2007 points if you don't believe it. Considering that Webber tends to qualify higher up than Coulthard that is pathetic. Even Massa would own him were they team mates.

Honda must be Happy, with Super Aguri so far off the pace due to lack of testing, the factory team is almost guaranteed to not finish last, at least for a few races.

2007:Kimi Raikonen won on his Ferrari debut from pole. Lewis overtook Fernando at the start and lead for 4 laps. Fernando overtook Lewis again and finished 2nd with Lewis logging his first podium in 3rd place.

Very exciting, at this rate I will be taking over from Murray Walker shortly.

By the way, I know that Murray retired in 2001 after the USGP. But he's still the best F1 commentator ever.

While ur playing with facts & figures there, check on the sessions last year ... I cud be wrong, but it looks to me that none of the teams hav closed on Ferrari or McLaren at all, just bunched up in the midfield ... & BMW has dropped out of that 5th / 6th gap?

There's a full second gap between 4th & 6th, with only home boy Webber in there? I seem to remember it being closer last year ...

Well Dice, I noticed what you said about the bunched up midfield too. I'm hoping that it means they are closely matched and that the usually lousy camera operators who show us the leader for the whole race would give the midfield some airtime and we may actually see racing in F1 !!!!!!!!
