If you think those times indicate that Brawn has turned Honda around, then you are kidding yourself. Thats like saying Newey has turned around Red Bull becase Webber was second fastest in P2 in Melbourne. Honda looked very unimpressive in Melbourne and I doubt all their troubles can be cured in once race. Honda have some way to go yet.

Honda aren't a top class act yet, but do you think they that they would have progressed this far so quickly without Brawn? You would have got good odds at a bookie for them being a top ten runner just a month ago. And Button was in the top ten for most of this session.
I know it is a fairly common name but the above is not the Dave that regularly posts on here because I am he!!

Riiiight...
Who turned around Force India then ? Giancarlo Fisichella is just 1 place behind one BMW and 4 places in front of the other. Those Friday practice times mean completely nothing. Wait till Saturday quali to see The Real Deal.
Sutil looks like all the hype about him last year was completely unfounded. Fisichella is thouroughly beating him in all the sessinos so far and thats not saying much for his speed considering he has been with the team for a year already.
Vettel on the other hand looks like the real deal.

I could have come home 6th in my Holden if I took the grid, 6th place in Melbourne was just a matter of finishing the race. Honda were outclassed even by Toro Rosso.

"Honda really have turned things around since pre-season testing"
No they haven't. Button placed 4th in this session on a simulated, low-fuel qualifying run. Most of the teams were working on race pace, while it seems silly Honda was working on qualifying pace.

Actually Barrichello could have nicked a podium if not for the safety car and 10 second penalty. He certainly looked racey
