Some people just dn't know when to put the spade down.

Odd.. The FIA reacting to the fact max's thoughts and more are exposed? Does the FIA actually allow for him to hide behind them to fend off just reactions from companies that are more important to the FIA than the other way around? Why not ban Ferrari as well? Fiat provided the Bombers for Guernica and ferrari is Fiat money. Coming to think of it, ban Alonso for that matter, Spanish Catholics were mass murderers up to 1975! Was Renault Vichy or Gaullic France? I cannot imagine the stupidity of that man and the organisation he is tied to.

"Given the history of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, particularly before and during the Second World War,"

**** you Max, that's a real cheap shot wich shows you as a mad and digusting man.

Also, playing the 'it might not be real'-card. Yeah right, if i was accused of this and it wasn't true I would scream from all mountaintops: that's not me! and not sue for privacy-breach.

I am no Max Mosley fan, trust me, but I wish we would stay out of each other's bedrooms. Lots of people role play in their sex lives, and if everyone in F1 who ever had relations with a prostitute were banned from F1, how many would be left? I condemn Max for the job he has done as FIA President and if we are going to run him out of F1, it should be for the job he has done as FIA President, not for his sex life.

Mosley is beginning to remind me of Jonathan Aitken's "simple sword of truth" (or should that be Damocles) protestations, (apologies to those who may never have heard of Aitken's). Pity for us he's still listening the the terrible twins (Wood's and Pernell) and may be around for as long as it takes to arrange a meeting of the WMSC, hopefully they'll have the ba**'s and take a lead from the manufactures and get rid of him!

I once worked for a local government body, and the Chief Exec said to me that the acid test of any activity you undertake is whether you would be comfortable seeing it reported in the tabloids. The FIA ain't your local council, but the principle remains.

Once this broke, I immediately thought that once the Manufacturers started disowning him, he was done for. If he continues to use the FIA as his personal bodyguard, he'll destroy it; he seems to be regarding this as a continuation skirmish with the GPMA.

Now Dave Richards has spoken out as well. Nico has also passed comment, which condemns MM, in a vague roundabout manner.

Robsy, Mosley has 'previous' in his machiavellian manipulation of the FIA to secure his power-base and isolate dissent. Although challenged before has with the co-operation of Ecclestone emerged stronger, his problem is now there is a concerted effort by some of the many enemies made over the years who smell blood and have long memories.

I suspect they're happy to shoot the messenger at this stage and sort out the weakened puppet-master later!

I dont know what I'd enjoy seeing more at this point ...
1) Max leaving with his tail between his legs, or
2) Max taking on the might of BMW, Mercedes, Honda & Toyota. I almost want him to take the fight to them, so that they can bleed him & his connections dry in court & teach him a PROPER lesson!

Was it me or was Mosley arrogantly admonishing BMW/Mercedes for their WWII behaviour. If so then one could ask, who it was that abjectly fails to learn the lessons of the past (who it was that was fined for breaking up an anti-apartheid rally, MM the racist of course)!

As the FIA and manufacturers' now having distanced themselves, Max looks like he has no allies left to defend him. If he insists on staying it will do more harm then good - it will turn into a tyrannical regime where he can pass judgement, but god forbid anyone criticise him.... I thought it was generally accepted that it is him anyway - he doesn't seem to deny it. His statement is a bit contradictory and bringing up a war element is very lame - I don't think that is clouding Mercedes and BMW's view in any way and is a poor poor excuse.

The first rule of war - know when you are beaten (and that's moseley, not his bum cheeks!!!). Quite how he can stay on in his role is beyond me, a 50+year old man paying ladies to whip his bum is beyond strange....

Well, Honda and Toyota both just indicated that integrity was the issue. I think a five hooker orgy, regardless of anti-semitic undertones is a smear on both Mosley poersonally, and the sport he runs... Bye, Max.

can you imagine what Mosley would be saying if Ron Dennis had been caught doing something like this? I am sure he wouldn't be prepared to let him carry on as if nothing happened. At the very least he would be accused of bringing the sport into disrepute!

see autosport site. moseley has called for an "extraordinary general meeting" of FIA. however no date is given and it may be some time before it is held. no doubt he will try to "whip up" some support but for how long can he keep this position? 5 hours??

Just seen on BBC news24 (TV) - MM has called an extraordinary meeting of the FIA to brass. Things are coming to head (to coin a phrase).

Knives are out, and thats the sound of sharpening you can hear in the distance. There must be some real fear at Maranello - can the manouever JT into position quickly enough? Go JYS!!

I have a few German friends and ive spoken to them about this article and they completely agree with BMW and Mercedes. What they did in the 1930's and 40's is something that they arent proud of. Very few Germans are proud of their past, the 3 i know well are all deeply embarassed by the 2 World Wars and the crimes committed.

As somebody said, Max needs to put down the shovel, as i cant see anybody willing to give him a ladder.

Come on BMW/Mercedes/Toyota/Honda, show this arrogant "Holier than Thou" man the door in the most swift way possible. I would like a silent exit from Max, whilst i dislike him, i think the allegations etc are more than enough for one man.
