Mosley lawyers respond to injunction failure.

Mosley lawyers respond to injunction failure.

Following Max Mosley's failure in the High Court to prevent the News of the World from re-instating a 90-second video clip of what it describes as his ‘sick Nazi orgy with 5 hookers' on its website [see separate story – click here], the legal firm representing the FIA President has issued a statement.

With a donation only in the event of a win, why couldn't he donate some of the $300Million backhander Be was supposed to have given him in 2003?
You would wonder just who is paying all the upfront fees in this private matter, Mosley or the FIA?

Oh Max.....
If it wasn't this tabloid it would be another, or any p2p service.
Don't fool yourself, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS...

Poor Ze. My condolences. Your understanding of this world is most primitive. Of course everybody is responsible for his/her actions. What has this to do some private party, nobody's interests were damaged until paparazzi sneaked in.

I agree with Ze - yes it was a sting but once the cat is out of the bag how are you going to stop it by suiung the news of the world especially when the courts have allowed the NOW to put the video back online.

it may have been a private party - but it was pretty pervy

I would have thought that they would want this story to die rather than issue statements thus ensuring it stays in the headlines.

For goodness sake, Max stop trying to make out that someone else is at fault. You did what you did and you should quit.

If he lived in the UK he would know that the NOW rarely lose a case. They'll have more evidence than originally revealed and will get more because other prostitutes will come forward and say how he dressed them up as Nazis.

He'd have done better to apologise for being a fool and imitating Germans. It would all have been forgotten about. Now he will drag the whole of F1 through the courts, hang on as sponsors desert realising they have no power to get rid of someone damaging the sport and he'll exact revenge on all who spoke out against him. Bernie must tell him to go.

Bye bye Max. Your days are numbered.
Yes, you have gained the notoriety that you have strived for so long to achieve, but did you ever think that you would be remembered for your "private life" shenanigans and ridiculed by millions.
OH DEAR.

I am really enjoying watching Max Mosley squirm and defend himself over this. I accept that he has done very well in his job but I feel it is time for change at the top of the FIA organisation, but I would have prefered him to go with a bit more decorum (hmm depending my mood). Murdoch is going to tear him to shreds when this goes to court.

Max should know not to listen to lawyers - they will happily continue to take his money off him in order to fight his case - however they will neglect to tell him that his chances of winning that injunction case were zero (as the video snippet was already in the public domain). His chances of winning a privacy case against the News of the World are also zero. In the very rare cases where the person wins they are normally awarded £1 damages, but have to pay £1m costs. His arrogance and pride let him be advised by greedy lawyers - he has nothing to gain from dragging this out. RESIGN NOW MAX.

If the NOTW photographed you in a compromising postion and published it on the front page of their paper, would you quit your job? possible sue the newspaper? or just take it on the chin and bring your work into disrepute. Think about it
