Buemi confirms he is 'fighting' for RBR seat.

Despite persistent speculation that Sebastian Vettel is set to graduate to Red Bull's senior team Red Bull Racing in 2009, another name in the frame to make the jump is Sébastian Buemí, who insists he is putting David Coulthard and Mark Webber under the most pressure possible as he bids to get his big time break.

another SEB!! looks good prospect, but would be advised not to try to emulate lulu. a year with torro rosso (if it still exists) would be good for experience. however he should have no trouble about being a replacement for DC at RBR, as DC is costing them a small fortune in repairs

Hah! Buemi is dreaming...there's no way he could kick out either RBR driver, they're too good. About his only chance will be if/when DC retires at the end of the year, because he's sure not going to dislodge Mark! Vettel is much higher in the pecking order I think than Buemi, not that it matters. Vettel or Buemi, next year Mark will be no. 1 at RBR (if Ferrari or Mclaren don't snap him up first! ;P) and he'll kick their butts from pillar to post.

Realistically he's forth in line behind the other sebs! Bordais is a proven multiple open wheeler WC and Vettel is a natural freakishly fast driver who would have been at MaClaren if Red Bull released him but wisley didn't. Give him 3-4years and he'll be in F1 though. Good on him for verbally sticking up the others and letting them know he's right there ready willing and able to make the step up. He seems to have a nice balance of arrogance and reality wich is required to be an F1 pilot.
