Force India: Ralf was never an option for us.

Force India: Ralf was never an option for us.

Despite having tested for the Silverstone-based squad towards the end of last year, Ralf Schumacher was ‘never a candidate' for a Force India drive in 2008, Vijay Mallya has revealed.

Where is the wisdom in offering a test drive to some mate that was "never a candidate"? Other than a tiny bit of free publicity for the re-branded team, I see no benefit in this.
Guess I am missing something here.

In the end, Ralfie went where everybody knew he was headed to: himself included, but did not want to face it in public: the DTM

Meanwhile, Sutil better be careful. Speed Channel here in the USA showed a close-up of Mallya's facial expression after Sutil's crash in Barcelona. Didn't look to encouraging.

thats right, sutil has been poor.

I cant seen on what basis he got the drive over klien. Klien last season for redbull in 05 or 06? was very good, out qualifying DC at his final race in brazil if i remember right.

what has sutil ever done, got involved in 1st lap accidents in his first 3 races last season and done the same this year.

There some good drivers with out a drive and would do a ok job in that seat. Fisichella-Klien is a good line up.
