Webber 'will win a grand prix'.

Sort Comments:

Webber 'will win a grand prix'.

Former Formula 1 World Champion Alan Jones has come out effusively in support of his countryman Mark Webber, insisting the Red Bull Racing ace is more than ready to win a race in the top flight.

It's inevitable that Webber will win not only a race but even a world championship given the right circumstance. He is currently one of the top three or four drivers on the grid and Red Bull will come good. He's got so much experience and race knowledge that is invaluable to the sport and Jones understands that with his comments. He's one guy that has done the really hard yards in the sport and has been seriously unlucky in his carrer with bad timing team selection, realiability and racing incidents. If he sticks with Red Bull and visa versa he will get there sooner than later.

Webber wont win a grand prix. What little chance he had is now gone. Maybe if his Mercedes hadnt flipped, maybe if had gone to Renault instead of Williams, maybe if he had been able to take a vacant McLaren seat. But none of those happened.....
unlucky Mark, top guy, but it hasnt and i dont think ever will quite work out

weber has not a chance. the only way he might win a race is by failure of F,McL R and BMW. or else if any of these teams took him on as a number 2 (unlikely) and the number 1 retired. still. its nice to dream, isn't it!

If we get another race like Fuji last year, then Webber has a good shot at winning. Red Bull seems to have reliablility on its side this year but are still lacking pace. Even Mark knows that to get big points, he will have to take advantage of Ferrari, McLaren and BMW's failures. Three strong points finishes in a row is something Mark has not had in his F1 career for a long time, if ever, so its great to see him get some good results this year.

Alan Jones has a better chance on doing stand-up for comedy central than Webber has of winning a F1 race.

dave, what has a big mouth to do with being in the best car at the time? some verbose drivers eg weber, never win whilst others eg mansell, do win. KR is not a big mouth and wins more. maybe lulu is a big mouth BECAUSE he won, easily. i dont remember him being so arrogant before formula 1.

dave SO!?!? this is a forum for DEBATE. if it was a private letter why did you not say so. presumably you wanted to get back at chu for some reason, probably that he is an alonso suppoter (i am not but believe everybody has a right to their say)

Your comments are never posted for debate Rich ard. Calling Lewis a lulu and a big mouth is only starting an argument. As for Chu he can take care of his self.

Robert - Can't Dave take care of himself or is he too busy fending off any and all criticism directed towards the golden child.
