Mosley denials to come under close scrutiny.

In a move that some believe increases the likelihood of Max Mosley being forced out of his post when the FIA Senate meets to hold a vote of confidence on his future early next month, a leading legal brain has been hired by the sport's governing body to closely analyse the sex scandal.

Well I guess just cos nazi-style spanking gets you off doesn't mean you're a actually a nazi... anyone think of that?

What a transparent, pro-Mosley stunt by the FIA! I suspect Mosley suggested or approved this move, which shows that the FIA are his puppets despite the obvious damage having an exposed pervert as President of the FIA causes to the image of F1. Normal people would assume Mosley was playing a Nazi camp guard, though this costly, so-called "independent expert" barrister will no doubt split hairs as that's what lawyers do. Anyway, how can this QC be "independent" when he is a RAC Steward and a member of the FIA's Appeal Court and how can he be an "expert" on whether someone is acting out a Nazi scene? Beating women is anyway hugely offensive, whether by a Nazi or a German guard. Mosley must go!!

debs: do PLEASE try to understand that the women on the S&M scene get off on being beaten. It may seem crazy to you but it's true. If you don't believe me, just do a bit of research on Google or ask any psychiatrist that you may know. Sex is very strange and people like the oddest things but the modern view is it's OK if it is confined to consensual adults in private.

The QC in question is a former chairman of the English Bar Council. Hard to find anyone more independent. And on what basis would "normal people assume" Mosley was playing a Nazi guard? It's a pretty strange assumption unless there's evidence to support it. Presumably that's what the QC will be looking for?
