Having held his silence for weeks over the sex scandal engulfing Max Mosley, Bernie Ecclestone has responded to his former key ally's inflammatory letter suggesting the Formula 1 supremo is attempting to seize control of the sport's regulations from the FIA by insisting: ‘I don't want to have a war with Max.'
On the list of people you want support off in F1 I think Bernie has to be very high up.
I think Max has signed his own death warrant when it comes to holding his position! (no pun intended)

Well that puts the tin hat on it. MM clearly hasn't got the most basic political skills to remain in his position: it's one thing toughing out the allegations, but by flipping the bird at Bernie he has managed to upset not just his strongest potential ally, but the person who knows where msot of the bodies are buried. Its my hope that the collateral damage by their spat brings them both down - both knows enough about the other to destroy them.

The jaded views of Ecclestone and Mosley have spoiled the progress of Formula 1 for years. t's time for both of them to just Piss Off!

Considering Max has spent most of his career as Bernie's servant, siphoning millions Bernie's way instead of back into the sport, to turn around and suggest that someone else may do the FIA disservice is quite frankly laughable. I have no idea why people consider him such a skillful politician. He is a transparent thief who has done much to infuriate, divide and thieve from the F1 teams and the sport in general.

Just let them choose their weapons and have them go 10 paces and solve the problem with some civility and dignity with the winner take all.
i always believed that BE and MM were in each others pocket and that they were the best of friends. it seems that there has been a falling out. MM wont help BE screw more money from F1 and BE will not be giving MM any more handouts or shares. whats the answer? have a whip around, methinks!
I thought they'd got rid of foot and (in) mouth disease but it seems not.

"You want a war with me", "I'll have a war with you", "My dad will sort your dad" This sounds like playground drivel and all concocted in the fevered minds of two 70 year olds who think their little plans mean anything anymore. For Max the adage" You can fool some of the people....." springs to mind. Not any more Max but please stay until your totally humiliated so I can maximise the pleasure of your departure!
Mad Max has still not realised that he is the one who has damaged the FIA and Motorpsort and his fight to stay is causing more and more damage. As Max's private perversion's have been revealed, may be has he contracted Syphilis and the madness associated with it. Get him down to the nearest STD clinic Bernie before finding him a secure old folks home for his soon to be enforced retirement

If anything has given me hope that Max will lose the vote it's this story.

It's about time the FIA & the F1 guys like Bernie asked the hard question. Who are the biggest stake-holders in this sport? Answer: the fans. The politics in F1 are shoving the sport's biggest customers into the side alley. The FIA & F1 must put the interests of the fans above theirs if the sport is to survive. I'm a McLaren fan & I'm sure the interests of the fans of Ferrari, BMW, Renault, Toyota, etc...count as well. Take away the fans, & the sponsors & manufacturers will suffer & will disappear forever.
