Felipe Massa has insisted he will put his nightmare weekend at Silverstone firmly behind him – after encountering problems from the first day of practice right through to the end of the race.
Well....at least he is honest enough with himself to say he does not compare himself with Senna....
Senna must have been turning in his grave after that display...

Shouldn't they black flag a driver that is barely in control of his car for safety reasons? Massa was lucky no one hit him at speed. It was like winning the lottery 6 times.

For his own sake, I hoped that Massa had a throttle problem. But he admitted to making, 'mistakes at many levels.' He's been terrible in the rain before, but yesterday was a new low. Can it be true? Is he simply extraordinarily terrible in the rain? Actually, is he just a mediocre driver in a great car? If so, how do you explain his three wins this year in BHR, TRK and FRA? He's certainly an enigma.

Massa spun so many times I thought he was driving a shopping trolley. I know he's not a renowned wet weather driver, but even so...
As for 'mistakes at all levels' its clear Domenicali is no Brawn. Massa spun enough in the first stint that there would have been little risk in putting him on full wets to see if he could keep it pointing down the track. Boots were a real problem for the Scuderia yesterday, and definitely cost KR a podium. Stefano obviously doesn't believe weather forecasters - that stuffed Monaco for them too.
Top marks for Chu taking a slim opportunity to big-up his no 1 man, and a dishonourablt mention to Trevor for dragging in some Hamilhate on no grounds at all.

Massa had more spins than a washing machine on a rinse cycle today.
Ive said it before and I'll say it again - he can drive a fast car from the head of the field on a medium-fast or Tilke circuit, and that's about it. Take him to Spa, or Silverstone, and he's completely clueless unless he's got a HUGE car advantage.
When it comes to taking a sub-par car up from the midfield or going wheel-to-wheel with a rival in equally good machinery, he's completely devoid of talent.
yes massa is completely devoid of talent, yet he's leading the championship...

Errorxp, it's not always the most deserving or talented driver who wins the c'ship.
Massa has also been incredibly lucky thus far... KR didn't have his wheels fitted in time for monaco, got taken out by LH in Canada, and had the exhaust problem in France. All these incidents compromised his points, and a lot of those points went to Massa.
Almost all of Massa's poor scores have been his own doing - the first two DNFs, and now his abyssmal performance in the UK.
I think Ferrari's race yesterday really highlighted how much they miss Ross Brawn's tactical expertise! Just look how well Barichello did with him running the Honda show!!

Did anyone have the feeling that Massa was dangerous to the other drivers when he turned his car back to the right direction after his spins? Unfortunately I haven't seen the race, only a few short parts on youtube, but I was VERY surprised of his moves to get going again.
