Sato 'speaking' to teams about F1 comeback.

difficult to see who would want him. rbr/str, who may have a vacancy next year tend to look to their drivers in lesser formulae. maybe piquets seat at renault although he has improved a bit over the last two races. i dont think that fisi or jarno are due to retire either.
didnt i see on another website that campos is trying to purchase arguri. if he does, it would probably fare no better than SA and would more likely use spanish drivers so as to maximise sponsorship

Annoyingly, any team with a Japanese engine in the back will probably be interested, especially private teams, like Williams or Force India (should they switch to Honda).

He's not a bad driver, but America or LeMans would suit him better I feel.

sato's driving style is best suited for le mans or american racing.........next yrs str seat will be filled by senna,buemi or chandhok........williams have got naka and force india are unlikely to change their line up

That IS true, Sato has always been at his best on high speed tracks so he would probably do very well on the american ovals. But I still want to see him in F1. For me he is a good example of a driver that has lots and lots of personality, but without being an 4r53. He's just the coolest racer ever. Come back Taku, we need you!

That's all we need, yet another driver with limited talent coming to the IRL just because of Honda connections.... I would say Sato goes where ever Honda takes him, if it's F1 then there but probally and more likely Acura in Lemans type racing would be my guess/hope.

I bet he'll end up at Williams when Nico gets the hell out of dodge.
