SWRT: New car won't be used for 'little while'.

Banbury squad still cagey on debut date for new Impreza WRC2008

"Asked about the season to date, Taylor added that the team has been pleased with the results notched up by Solberg and Atkinson." Losers!!!! In the late 90's Subaru would have been embarrassed by those results, shame on you Subaru.

I have to be hinest, if you cut me in half i have Subaru written all the way through me but their performance of late has really disapointed me. The have the facilities and the expertese to make a super fast reliable car but something has gone wrong in Prodrive.

I do agree with GOFSTR.... They are LOSERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS they are happy basically with NOTHING !!!! SUBARU forgot how to build WRC and it is permanently humiliated by Citroen since 2004 and then by FORD. Don't know why Solberg is still there... Probably good many is behind, otherwise I cannot understand....

Gofstr, WRC for me and fide, may be correct, however we have to be realistic! This is what Taylor is doing.SUBARY 2008 results, even though they are NOT what we all want,
are a positive change for the better compared to last ye**** Yes or NO?
So at a stage where as FINALLY the old Imprezza is getting at least on the podium,
any Taylor, SHOULD be extemely carefull BEFORE releasing the new car to fight with
Citroen and Ford. This is the ONLY way for SUBARU to return to the old GLORY days.
If the car is prematurely released and fares worst that the old car, then... ;);)

For me there are no valid excuses..... Frenchmen retired successfull Xsara and then continued winning and winning with current C4. If new Impreza is succesfull as ugly it is, probably results will be good. ha ha

I completely understand why Subaru are being so thorough about launching the new car, after all Citroen tested for over a year with the C4 and even took a year out to make sure it was right before coming back with the all new car. I have been wondering about Subaru now for some time and I think if they get the new car wrong that will spell the end for the SWRT. They have to get back to winning ways with the hatchback or its "San Fairy Anne" for the boys in blue. The WRC needs them to be back upfront and fighting, we cant afford to loose another Manufacturer. There are only 3 1/2 different cars left now. I obviously want Ford to do most of the winning but there needs to be balance in the WRC.

If i would be the director of Subaru,i would fire Peter Solberg and hire Markko Martin.Peter doesnt got the potencial to the best driver i mean in 2003 he was just lucky to became world champion. The new car wont change anything
