WSS: Italians tied at the top.

WSS: Italians tied at the top.

Parkalgar Racing Honda's Craig Jones was just 0.077secs slower in third, with Hannspree Ten Kate Honda's Jonathan Rea 0.398secs from the top.

 2 people disagree.

Normal result because Italian or Spanish riders are the best in MotoSports!...

Hmmm... article about WSS and someone says spanish and italians are best in motorsport... funny how neither a spaniard or italian has won the WSS title then (and also the same is true of WSBK)

i think casoli won it in 97 on the 748, the first year of wss i think but i definately agree with you. the italians and spaniards fill the grids up but never seem to be at the front (wsb & wss)

WSS was not an official world championship until 1999, 97-98 was supersport world series, 96 an open championship and 1990-95 was the european championship.
