250: Debon grabs Qatar pole.

The 32-year-old class veteran edged out overnight pace setter Hector Barbera by 0.159secs for his first grand prix pole position, while Alvaro Bautista was a fraction slower in third.

Laverty 20th and 3 seconds off the pace! There is no point in even showing up tomorrow! he would only be counting down the laps until he gets overtaken!

It's like Gregorio Lavilla and Kyonara circulating around in 18th in WSB, but dominating BSB - It just shows the huge gulf between british riders and the rest of the world! Much like all the other sports england plays - the difference between how good the media portrays them and how bad they are is HUGE

Yeah... which would explain why there are Brits qualified on the front row for both the 125 and GP classes.

Reddding and Bradley come from the spanish chship ... it s normal that these kids race in spain in 125cc, it s owned by dorna and there are teams and sponsors that already are members of the world chship ...
Laverty is on a slower bike so not much to say there ...But the brits are looking klike they have a bright future ahead withe three 125 kids ... i personally think redding is an exceptional talent

Christiaan - Kiyo was 6th and Greg was 8th at Phillip Island - Greg is still on the 2007 Blade and Kiyo is on a 2008 model with virtually no development time - get your facts straight!

last year Laverty was riding a bike with a ten year old chassis (yes, 10 years old!). I don't know what he's on this year, but it won't be a top bike.

Bradley in 125's is now on a full factory bike and he's qualified first and been fastest in pre-season testing.
