Rossi times were consistent and he was fastest towards the end so i think he'll be happy with the tyre's, he hasnt made a mistake switching, everyone knows bridgestone make a good tyre, but pedrosa's set up was perfect today and the honda was obviously working well.
Great race, roll on the next one now...
...but please, lets not have the rossi/stoner bashing...there's no need.
Dani:Perfect Rossi: Perfect after big pressure Lorenzo: Enough as rookie with critical fault correction. Hayden: Could be better for him without fault. Toseland: Great moves and brave heart. Capirossi: Old fox Stoner: Loser of the day? Too much push and fault together!... Edwards: should judge himself how to race?

Hey Chris Vermulen, it is the world championship and pinnacle of motorcycle racing! you should expect to go roughed up a bit for position every now and then. but hey, its not like a aussie to moan about a brit is it?
Toseland slipped down to 10th from eighth on the grid in a frantic opening, but then he produced a series of brilliantly executed overtaking moves to move into fifth by the penultimate lap. - Tech 3 press release.

I just can't take it any more, P.Whinger, it's "you're", not "your". Did anyone on this forum complete primary school yet.
And the race was so boring I went to bed, if I'd known the children had to shake hands in front of the King I'd have stayed awake a bit longer for that one. Bummer!
Cool check it out ! A fist fight on the net... keep language down guys please. We can all make mistakes. It good to have a decend forum. A And by the way "Mick", I am not English spoken home.I am Spanish, so if I do make an error I do not want a guy like you telling me to go back to school. Thanks you in advance and no offense, let's keep good times rolling cause the G.P season is on fire! ;)
Mr Bösmans, I have no problems with English as a second language speakers making mistakes, generally speaking their level of grammar is superior to the appalling level of degeneration that native English speakers, especially the British have suffered over the past 20 years.
As an Australian who lived in a Swiss-German (mundart )only area of Switzerland I know how hard it is to communicate in a foreign language, especially when you where old when you had to learn it.
Enjoy the season but if the level of entertainment fails to arise above that of last night paint drying and grass growing are beginning to look attractive.
"I just can't take it any more", Mick, it's "were", not "where". "Did anyone on this forum complete primary school yet"?
;)
See, anyone can commit mistakes while typing quickly. It's not worth being rude...
Oh and I can't find boring a race where Rossi and Lorenzo and Hayden have such a fight for so many laps, where Capirossi, Dovizioso, Hopkins and Toseland dice all along the race including the very last turn... More generally, these guys are riding so hard, so close to the limit, it's just fascinating when you love the sport, even when there is no scrap for the win.

Snigger, good point Who Cares!
That said it was still completely boring, watching the 3 lead bikes not even get remotely sideways for the entire race distance reeks of Formula 1. I'm an old fart who dreams of power sliding exits, speedway entries etc.
I don't pay to go to a sporting event to get my entertainment from the also rans in 10th place, I want to see the best in the world strutting their stuff, it's been so completely neutered at the moment it's not funny.
P.S. I'm a crap typist and a few beers doesn't help!
I can't wait until Vermeulen gets a chance to show JT how it all does come around. Nothing against JT, but it'll just be fun to watch. If he's out of control then he's going to take someone down eventually. How will he feel if he pulls a "Pedrosa at Estoril" or and "Elias at Jerez". We'll see if Mr. Nicks praises such a hard man at that time.

BGK - Vermuelen has to catch JT first to get him back, it wasn't that hard a pass, just firm, nothing more than Valentino, Gibernau, Biaggi did every race in the past! Stop whining.....
I'm not whining at all. I only said it would be fun to watch. My point was that journos love to make the hard moves sound heroic when they just bend a lever or crack a fairing, but when someone ends up in the gravel and injured they go 'tsk, tsk'. Again, nothing against JT, but they should rename the race weekend blog, the James Toseland Blog.

i'd much rather watch a fight for tenth or lower orders then watch the 'elite' front runners go round on their own. has jt been watching some of jonesy's moves from last year? nothing wrong with hard riding but i dont know how the commentators slag off simoncelli but not jt for quite similar moves

There was a great race for 5th. shame the director chose to show rossi and lorenzo parading round for most of it. Those passes JT pulled were 100% necessary, he wanted to overtake but his bike wasnt fast enough to be able to do an outbreaking move at the end of the straight. With the vermuelen pass, he was already fully underneath him when vermuelen started trying to come in to take his second apex, so i see it as vermeulens fault for not seeing him if there is anyone at fault...
