Having been beaten to pole position by rookie countryman and arch-rival Jorge Lorenzo, Pedrosa wasted no time in getting around the Fiat Yamaha rider on the run to turn one, and was never headed.
Now all Yanks officially saved it on their elbow. Edwards, Hopkins and Hayden. No chance on winning, so lets do tricks. They must have had a bet on it. Nice
Crying shame Edwards dropped it this time though. A rare DNF, whilst he was fading, AGAIN! Blimey.

Very entertaining race. It was great seeing Stoner give it all and fight and of course, to see Rossi back in business. Who knows, judging by Pedrosa's gesture crossing the line, it looks as if HRC have finally crafted something other than a toaster on two wheels. If so, I hope that Dovizioso gets the treatment and pieces he deserves after having saved the day of Honda for two consecutive years in 250cc.

Dani the champion of Motogp, starting as he means to go on. need I say more.
Dani had another "starfighter" start that catapulted him out of contention. How does he do it? Reaction time? Weight?. Impressive...
Anyway, when he can do his lonely laps in front he's really strong, but I'd like to see him win (only once please) while battling for it...His "race" was really boring.
The best race of the day was by a distance were 250cc's. Simoncello trancended on his old Aprilia. He just was so unlucky that Bautista's ultrafast factory bike seized leaving them both in the gravel.
Capirossi was also showing how it should be done! Great!!!
The ride of the day goes to him AND Simoncello as far as I'm concerned
Rossi

It was fanstastic King juan carlos was there!!! Jorge Lorenzo didn't congratulate dani pedrosa!!!!!!! King Juan Carlos showed them how to congratulate eachother!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jorge Lorenzo was a little bit frustrated, if you ask me!!!!

Harryx, Did you see the same race of 250cc than the rest of us? I mean, the one in Jerez today, where the only ultrafast machine was the Gilera (Aprilia with a Gilera sticker, I mean), very much so in the corners.... Simoncelli is even more unpredictable and unsettling than de Angelis... He might become SBK material if he doesn't improve, with all due respect to superbikes.

Some really exciting racing going on behind Pedrosa.
Great ride from Dani, but I still don't like him. Never will.
It's good to see Rossi starting to really gel with his Bridgestones. No doubt that was an important podium for him.
Lorenzo showed much maturity in keeping it together once he was passed, especially since he wasn't able to run the pace he had in practice.
Hayden seems so much more comfortable on this new bike, I'm sure he'll continue improving and will be on the podium again soon.
I'm so glad that James Toseland is in MotoGP. What a gritty performance given his physical condition. He's a real tough guy!
