Pedrosa primed for title attack.

Pedrosa primed for title attack.

Dani Pedrosa's home victory in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix has put the Repsol Honda rider on top of the MotoGP World Championship standings for the first time ever - and, given his and Honda's problems heading into the new season, things should only get better.

In Jerez, race day was for him!... He deserved to win by a faultless ride. Nobody has any suspect on him but the main question if he is ready being a champion or not in his mind?

I always thought that he was better than Nick but enough to compete with others? Rossi, Lorenzo, Stoner will be main rivals in 2008. He has a chance for championship if he keeps the momentum but anyway when the cards checked;

My bets are as follows;

1-Rossi
2-Stoner
3-Pedrosa
4-Lorenzo
5-???

Too soon to say, but Honda might find themselves
with the same problem of Ducati:
building a title-challenging machine
that only one rider can push to the limit.

Honda need what Lorenzo is to Yamaha, a Honda rider
capable of challenging Pedrosa.

It'll be close...but I hope that the time of Dani's reign finally has come this year ;)

Notice the change in pedrosas riding... no longer is he super smooth and early on the brakes... he is more ragged, and looks more determined! good to see but wether he is strong enough up top to take the fight to the likes of rossi and someone like lorenzo who has mroe self confidence than anyone on the grid! stoner has showed us that he is still a bit fragile, but he will get stronger now, i think last year softened him up a bit as he cruised it! and once Rossi fully dials the bridgestones in he will be tough to beat... yamaha fastest through speed trap as well! probably because he brakes so late!

Wasn't the sites resident "know-it-all" Morgue, persistently banging on all pre-season about how Honda were supposedly lost and in big trouble. Just goes to show what some of the self-proclaimed experts really know - **** all!

C'mon Morgue - it's time for another large helping of humble-pie ;) ;)

Pedrosa is a great rider just like all the other Motogp riders, I don't think he will ever win a championship though. I beleive he will crash at some point this year and will be out for a few races. The championship looks to me like a tose up between Jorge and Valentino with Stoner and Hayden very close.

Well i thought Dani rode fantastic - considering the scorching pole lap from lorenzo, i thought that he was gonna win the race by a mile. But Dani showed that when he is dialed in, no one can stop him-(even Valentino).
This year is gonna be special-(DANI-VALE-JORGE-&-CASEY)-all fighting to be champion.
I must say though i would love to see Dani Pedrosa become champion and if not Dani, then to see Valentino remind everyone why he is classed as the greatest rider ever
would also be amaizing.

GO DANI GO

ps-GREAT RIDE FROM TOSELAND-(WITH FLU AND ALL)

After the sepang crash Pedrosa seems to be in trouble, he did little preseason testing, after the Qatar test it looks like HRC was having big problem, for the Qatar race Pedrosa did a good job by choosing the 2008 bike, last sunday his bike looks even better than the Qatar race so he is working hard and he has shown determination, this is early days but I am sure a lot of people didn't expect to see him leading the champioship after two races.

Pedrosa has an ambition to get a championship but the question is how long he can manage his ambition???

Pedrosa is without a doubt the best Honda rider and with his input the bike is getting better. The Honda is already fast with an updated engine on its way this could spell trouble. Stoner's Ducati is very fast and has gotten better this year even though it doesn't like Spanish GP circuit. Pedrosa will be in the championship hunt but the likes of Rossi, Lorenzo and Stoner won't make it easy. It's still too early to make any predictions but a few more races into the season may start to show a patern.

Pedrosa. That's all to say about. Pedrosa already has won this championchip and the next year championchip, and... he is the best rider. What the hell has hapened till now then? That honda were dumb, silly. Pedrosa until he arrived motogp was who decided how his bike must be. But in honda found opposition and no care about his claims on bike development. Now things changed, and Pedrosa decides how his honda must be, and now will be the Pedrosa he was on 250 and 125. The best. He won't quit the lead. I bet you. (sorry english)
