The top seven riders on the timesheet used qualifying tyres to set their best laps, although fastest man Jorge Lorenzo also recorded a best of 1min 39.59secs on race tyres - over half a second under Dani Pedrosa's lap record in Sunday's race.
Lorenzo' s pace looks strong. Whenever he shows it in race, he could be real threat for others?...
Rossi is second again! Casey is third but better than race! What about Pedrosa, tired from night party???

Fast Rookie!
I' m anxious to know who will take the 2008' s Rookie Prize?...Toseland, Lorenzo or Dovi?

OK but race season is long enough to change the table?

Sorry Dirk, I've been a toesland fan for years, but I have to say he isn't going to get the Rookie Prize... He's still on an underpowered bike, and he doesn't know all of the circuits (that Dozi and Lorenzo have been racing on in 250). But when he does get the bike and track experience I think he's going to be right there at the front...

The best place to judge JT's pace this year will be Indy, where nobody has any prior experience..

Indy will be new to all, yes, but there are circuits run on by both MGP and WSBK... JT seems to be exceeding expectations on the new tracks too

Pete if JT posts a podium or a win before Indy how will you judge him then

-twin of-, I've already judged him, he is the real thing, fast determined, always seems to get the best out of what he is riding. He has agood chance of a podium in Italy and at Donington, I do believe he will struggle with the new engine in Portugal and China.
