'Unbelievable' Lorenzo tops Monday test.

The Fiat Yamaha rider, who boasts an outstanding record of two pole positions and two podiums from his two MotoGP starts, worked on set-up and tyre testing for Michelin during his 94 laps.

Lorenzo is a "Real Threat" for anybody on track by his performance!...

He could face with Rossi for championship and with Pedrosa for being 1st Spanish Rider

Wow!!! Nicky did a 1:38.8 in Febuary so it isn't like Lorenzo and the other guys are walking on water. But, these guys are the best of the best and all of them deserve our respect. Way to go Dani in the race, I'm not a fan of him personally but a ride like that deserves respect. The race was great! Multiple picture in picture would be great as there is way too much action to carry on a single feed. Can't wait for the next race. This year is going to be more entertaining than last year.

I also support multiple picture on TV. Sometimes nonsense to watch the first rider without any action.

TV director should split screen two or sometimes four or whatever depending on race action!...

Actually Suzuki is pushing forward but...slower than some other factory teams.
They just may improve a little, they're in trouble when exceptionally talented young guns come into motogp. This year they have to deal with a stronger rider line-up at Fiat Yamaha, the renewal of Tech3,a fast and consistent Dovi on the JiRHonda...Makes them drop 4 places all of a sudden !
Let's face reality : Capi's fifth place was pure luck! Not a smart tactical move by an old fox like many pretended.Though I like the brave fighter he his...

Yeah, it's not really unbelievable. He's shown good pace over a lap as qualifying has shown. Just needs to translate that into race pace.

How long before Marco finds himself without a ride?

Marco has the ability to win races. I don't think he will find himself without a ride. Judging by Gresini's moaning about Suppo stealing his riders, he would still like to have him riding one of his bikes.

About this article, I don't see what exactly unbelievable Lorenzo did in yesterday's testing. He was the race's poleman, so what exactly was unbelievable in just repeating what he did on Saturday?

Lorenzo is good but he is beatable. He seems to be a bit of a headcase so if he gets into trouble or have poor results he may crack. But he's talented. These tests mean nothing in relation to races. While Lorenzo may have topped the charts this doesn't mean he'll win the next race but I'm sure he'll be a contender. The interesting thing will be how Stoner tries to jump back. Will he start to feel the pressure from Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa? Will he crack or crash or both?

Casey has suddenly woken up and realised when his machine advantage is cut, he is no better than the other to 10 in the class. Lorenzo has marched into MotoGP, is younger than Casey - yet stamps his authority all over the Australian - much to his fury.

Lorenzo is fun, wild - with a brash personality. Everything Casey isn't, and he's frustrated at this. The media loves Lorenzo.

Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Rossi are all incredible. Put them on a machine 85% as good as Casey's and the competition often beats him.

Once the Japanese manufacturers catch up with engine technology that can rival the characteristics of the unique Ducati engine - Casey may well be another Sete Gibernau.

grumpy doctor im sorry but thats not true, but u are entilted to your view of course.

casey is a class world champ, as often when someone walks a title people will point to the machine they are on. and yes the ducati is very good. As the Yam was for rossi titles, the honda before for Mick and valentino.

but look to where the other ducatis have been. and one of them riders is a multi race winner.

case closed. nothing wrong with casey.

I don't think Stoner is inferior to Pedrosa or Lorenzo. He showed great resolve last year where he didn't crack under the immense pressure put on him by Rossi in the first half of the season (remember Catalunya?). However, he is not superior either.

I think that from the young trio (Pedrosa Stoner Lorenzo) Lorenzo has the slight edge, psychologically. He is aggressive, very confident and very determined. I'm sure he will develop more rivalries apart the one he has with Pedrosa.

I also expect better performances from Andrea Dovizioso, especially if he takes Hayden's place alongside Pedrosa (a scenario possible if Hayden finishes outside top-5 in the championship)

Lorenzo halts Rossi or not? To be or not to be? If he passes Rossi on points, Rossi should change his team as a loser to his teammate!...Let' s see together he is good enough as seen or only a lucky rookie?

Dovizioso could take Rossi's spot along side Lorenzo or more likely Melandri's spot along side Stoner.Toseland could be in the factory squad with Lorenzo if he manages to improve his results, though doubt it.Yes new engine coming but reults will be the same if not more difficult for him.The 3 young guys are the best motoGP riders going and will take 123 in the 08 title.
