Stoner finds speed, Melandri hurt.

Sort Comments:

Stoner recovers speed, Melandri hurt.

Stoner, who fell at high-speed on Friday, went off track twice during Sunday's race on his way to eleventh position, but claimed to make clear progress towards solving his front-end problems as he rode to third place at the test.

Melandri lost himself in Ducati? Please let me know why he has so much trouble?...

Stoner finds his form again! Jerez race was like a nightmare for him and time to wake up?...

After Jerez it would appear that no amount of setting changes will get the current Ducati to work at this track. Ducati has to produce another version of it's MotpGP bike that is more user friendly and can ride the bumps. Is the current frame or chassis too stiff for this type of track? Do the alloy frames of other bikes ride the bumps better than the steel Ducati frame?

You can count Estoril where Ducati will suffered again. The solution is to re-built GP7 for the rest of the Ducati riders. GP8 seem only suit for Stoner alone.

GP7 at least has top-end strength which is can be used to compensate problems on the other areas.

Dirk, if u want to know why he's strugglin, know only that it's his natural speed, he always tops the speed on the straight but very week in corners.

he was given ride in ducati only coz he's italian!!

better they look for an upcoming young driver like Tarmaci in 125cc.
he can do better than him!

Melandri is not bad driver as told about!...He has some problems to adjust his style to Ducati. If you look at his history he had some amazing victories such as Istanbul Park which is a very technical track. Don' t clear his name easily with 2 races. He is not a rookie and I' m sure that he will recover again and push for the podium but only he needs time?

i find it funny that last year everyone said how easy the duc was to ride because anyone could win on it and that must be why stoner won...

this year melandri struggles and now its the hardest bike to ride...

That's exactly the reason nobody believes it's down to Stoners 'immense'and hitherto largely unspectacular talent. The bikes an oddball that just happens to suit the boy. He'll only ever win on that bike as he has proved in the past, enjoy the anomally while it lasts. That doesn't mean he's doing a great job but a great rider, naaa, just lucky....Anything else is just b*******...

Just saw a interview with Andrew Pitt.....gotta laugh at this one.....he was testing tyres for Rossi on the Yamaha and was going as fast as Edwards......seems like Rossi needs the Aussies to get everything right for him........makes you wonder where he would be without us ;)

Dont forget Duke, that when the Aussies have fixed everything for Rossi he is the one who sticks it on the podium, would you Aussies happily trade Rossi for De Puniet to test your theory? that yamaha was a 3 legged donkey, this year it could be a 2 legged donkey, but only Rossi will put it on one of the steps of the podium come the end of this season, no one else could including Jorge.

MM....I think the Yamaha is a way better bike this year as has been proven by the riders......I think that saying behind every great man there is a great woman comes to fore....so we could look it another way.....Would De Puniet be happy to trade his team for Rossis....bet I know what Rossi would say to that

I think I know the answer to that one as well....Your best chance is to offer it to JB and the team.....I am sure they might like it for the laugh, Make sure there is a few cartons of beer to go with it
