Stoner: Absolutely no feeling.

Sort Comments:

Stoner: Absolutely no feeling.

But the Ducati Marlboro star fell on his very first lap of the dry afternoon hour and never looked completely comfortable, eventually setting the seventh fastest lap time.

Is that front Bridgestone changing? In the rossi input producing a tyre less suitable to the ducati, i wonder.

Is he using last years tires? If he would use the tires Rossi is using he'd be a lot more competitive, i wonder

(just joking)

Rossi

If he was riding the Yamaha he would win more races than last year.

Is this the beginning of Ducati's decline?

rossi also fell, and other pilots experimented problems at Estoril yesterday. Obviously, something is happening in Ducati's team, and something isn't quite right...But don't dig deep for Stoner and Borgo Panigale yet, they'll bounce back...

Well it seems to me as if Stoner is not as happy with the bike as last year.

Now we all said once the other guys get's competitive machinery & tyres etc we could really see just how good Stoner is.

I would'nt write him off just yet but I don't see him being a match for Pedrosa & Rossi with equally good machinery.

Get ready for the backlash from the Stoner fans he,he ;) Bring it on!

As for Bridgestone well although they made out initaly they didn't want to supply rossi, I bet on the quiet they was laughing big time, they know exactly how good Rossi is a developing tyres now dont they .

 4 people agree.

Unexplained offs and different handling should be easily addressed by teams IF the problem is with the machine. If the problem is with the tyres teams can very easily go round in circles as they try and diagnose problems.
Generally the BS runners are not performing any where as well as the Mich runners on these cold dry tracks. Add a bit of moisture or heat and the BS camp is back in the game.
Maybe we will see a two part championship with the Mich tyres going well in the first half of the WC and BS coming on in the second half as the temperature rises or we get a little rain.

I think the WC will be close this year.

No disagreement here, this will be a great test for Stoner.

But I think the competition for Rossi now is much tougher than he had with his other championships. Or even tougher than hes ever had it.
