Valentino Rossi thought he might have done enough to secure his 50th grand prix pole - and first ever for Bridgestone - only to be denied in the final minute of Shanghai qualifying by former Fiat Yamaha team-mate Colin Edwards.
It's nice to see colin up front...but as always,he will over ride his ability. I like the guy as a person and rider...but. As for Mr.Rossi he is playing the actor,he willsay he is happy,when inside he is really pissed. A real shame for Lorenzo,Happy Birthday kid,get well soon.

Yep Rossi will be pissed for sure, piped at the post.....AGAIN.
I noticed Rossi and Stoner Actually try'd to beat each other, Normaly Casey doesnt care, This time he went out to beat them just for pole and the phsyc advantage, Rossi did the same but failed as well, The head games for domination is alive and well.
If its dry Casey's race pace will easily show them up in tha last quarter, if it rain Casey may have some compertition......or theres the flag to flag thing, I love that.

harryx...yea,yea,so...it was early in the am here and I was pumped over Colin's great lap. Of course, he'll be lucky to finish in the top 6. If it rains the Bridgestones will check out unless Michelin has finally come up with a rain tire.

rossi has equaled if not bettered stoner all weekend.
