Audi victorious, campaign back on the rails.

Audi challenge back on track after thrilling St. Petersburg victory.

A "triumph" ???
Audi was not in the lead, dominated by the diminutive LMP2 Porsche, and only won thanks to a drag race at the restart with only two laps to go: Yes, a 5500cc twin turbo V12 engine accelerates a little bit stronger than a 4000cc aspirated V8. What a surprise, and what a win! Wolfgang Ulrich is ridiculous again, and it's a shame to see journos copy like sheep the "TDI power" bull**** which is in Audi's press release. TDI is a weak technology, so finally the diesel technology almost prevented AUdi from winning, instead of procuring the win. The rules have arranged for the win, by providing the diesels with 4 more cylinders, 1500cc extra capacity and twin turbos...

Shame on Audi

Well the LMP2's shouldn't be fighting for outright victory in the first place, and they wouldn't be if the ALMS organiser's got their asses into gear and put them in their place - what's the point in having LMP1 and LMP2 if there both virtually equal? It's like having a GT2 car that is quicker than a GT1.

F575, I agree, with a difference: the ALMS organisers should put the petrol LMP1 in their place, instead of slowing them down in order to have the diesels get race wins. Putting the LMP2s at more of a disadvantage would be even more wrong for the sport.
