I could hardly watch it, admits Luhr.

German unable to watch as race climaxes with Audi 1-2.

Is that why we did not hear Dr Ulrich whine after Sebring? ALMS organizers have accepted to display a yellow at the end of each race to allow the ridiculous Audis to win?

Oh, what a splendid victory, winning a drag race with a V12 twin turbo 5500cc against an aspirated V8 4000cc! Remarkable feat for the diesels indeed...

What's more ridiculous is the P2 cars being allowed to compete with the P1 cars in the first place, it's so false. The ALMS really needs to sort itself out.

What do you mean Stephen? You want a championship with Audis and Peugeots only?

I would prefer by far that LMS and ALMS (and WTCC and BTCC) stop selling themselves as a commercial showcase for diesel crap and get back to motorsports. As long as they are obliged to bend the rules to make their clients win as agreed, the organizers will only get nonsense races.

Do you remember the great times of the sport/prototype world series? 5 liters sport, 3 liters prototypes, and 2 liters/4 cylinders lower category, all racing together. No bent rules, just motorsports. Oooh how I miss that :(
