Good point.

Watched a race on eurosport last year, never been so bored for yonks, cars are so fragile and aero dynamically dependant no one wants to hit anyone....it's like F1...but even more boring

Well thats the kind of racing when you'll have equal cars on track. DTM is basically stock car racing on road course. Every car is the same underneath and even the engines shares the same electronics and components. This is why you dont have a dominant driver in DTM much like nascar. Anybody can win.

Watch the whole season first before you call them boring. Norisring, hockenhiem and brand hatch all were epic races.

Well if everything pans out, looks like I'm heading to shanghai this october.

It's fine to have a one-off truly overseas round if Merc and Audi presumably want to be there for marketing reasons, but to be a championship finale is a bit of a kick in the face to the core fans. Plus, I'm really uncomfortable with all these series thinking it's fine to race in a country whose government has NO respect for basic human rights.

Taz, whatever you watched on Eurosport last year wasn't DTM! DTM was only on Setanta and then on ESPN!

Before you slag off a perfectly good racing series make sure you've got your facts right!
