As long as they are drivers that deserve to be there on pace and ability, I don''t care what gender they are.

PR machines along the lines of "OMG it''s a GIRL" don''t help any sport. Just look at Indycar''s tantrum queen!

DTM » Stoddart: A woman will succeed in F1

Mercedes-Benz DTM star Susie Stoddart argues that a female driver will make it into F1 in the not-too distant future - as she focusses her own attentions on further improvement in the pan-European tin-top series in 2009.

unfortunately there doesnt seem to have been a talented woman who deserved her place for years, could it be that Danica is the best of the lot?!?! (I say years because there was once that rally driver who won stuff - Pam something?)

Katerine Legge, Susie Stoddart, Vanina Ickx and whoever else are/were in DTM are never going to win anything, because they haven't got any more talent than anyone off the street, oh but they're women so give them a ride! its actually quite embarrassing for DTM if you ask me.

max, possibly PAT MOSS, sister of stirling, and who died last month. BMC works driver in healeys and cooper s. also there was michelle mouton who drove audi quatro (and won ) and who organises RofC. but these were not racers. in F1 there was lela lombardi who got half a point! and then the great british hope , davinia gallica, vanished without trace! danica may be a bit of a dollybird, but behind the glamour, she seems to be the best prospect at present. at least she competes at top level in USA

Well my view is simply, if they're good enough, then they deserve to be in F1, whether they are male or female

Well if they keep sticking the women in the slowest, oldest DTM cars what else do they expect.

There is talented racing girl in Poland, Natalia Kowalska. Racing in Formula Rrenault 2.0 and Formula 3. This year she took part in Star Mazda Series. Making impression on first appearence, switched from John Walko Racing to best team - Andersen Racing. Natalia is said to have technical knowledge useful in setup, same as Kubica, and also she had same problems with fair play in polish motor federation. What is good preparation to racing F1 (without full backup):).

If only one of the 10 yrs old karter who had walked upto Woking Boss was female. with all the resources at disposal, that female could have become F1 WDC by now.

But then its question of being at right time at the right place. And again your team backing you 100% .Susie Stoddart be happy with Old Spec DTM cars,if thats what you consider equal treatment.
