EURONICS, one of Germany's leading electrical companies, will partner the Mercedes DTM squad for the first time this season.
The partnership, which was announced in Stuttgart earlier today, will mean the colours of the universally respected company will appear on one of this seasons AMG Mercedes C Coupe's.
Wolfgang Schattling of Mercedes-Benz motorsport, naturally pleased with the tie-up, believes the merger between the two brands will play a significant role in the groups marketing communications over the coming the seasons.
"We are delighted to have signed this sponsorship agreement with EURONICS and to be welcoming the largest retail cooperative group of its kind in Europe to the Mercedes-Benz motorsport family,” said Schattling.
“We are all the more pleased because the involvement of EURONICS with the AMG Mercedes C Coupé will play a major role in the group's own marketing communications - in print, online and on TV.
“And there is also an apt tie in with the EURONICS advertising slogan: Only the very best gets a star."
The new DTM season will, as usual, get underway at Hockemheim on May 5th.
