Christian Vietoris has broken Audi's stronghold at the top of the timesheets on the third day of official pre-season DTM testing at the HUngaroring.

Setting the fastest time of the test so far, Vietoris' effort would see him put Mercedes at the head of the order for the first time after Miguel Molina and Nico Muller set the pace for the Ingolstadt marque on days one and two.

Behind Vietoris, BMW filled the next three positions with Marco Wittmann, Timo Glock and Augusto Farfus second, third and fourth respectively, while Mercedes' Pascal Werhlein completed the top five.
