Team RMG's Maxime Martin concedes the race winning Audi's were 'too quick' to challenge at the Hockenheimring but isn't dwelling on the result all that much after BMW capture the 2015 manufacturers' title.

Martin was at the forefront of BMW's final push towards their third manufacturers' title in four years all weekend long having finished as the top M4 runner in both races with third and sixth.

The Belgian's Team RMG squad also came within 21-points of successfully defending their teams' crown but the BMW outfit eventually lost out to Mercedes' HWA operation.

A strong start in race two left Martin in contention for his second podium of the weekend but the 29-year old was powerless in keeping the race winning Audi's at bay.

"We were determined to win the Manufacturers' title, and we did it. Fantastic. I got off to an outstanding start and immediately fought my way up to third place.

"Unfortunately I was unable to match the pace of the Audi's, but that is irrelevant now after this team result for BMW."

A strong end to the season means Martin finishes just 18-points off his RMG team mate and outgoing DTM champion Marco Wittmann in seventh place.
