Team Phoenix's Mike Rockenfeller has ended the Hockenheim DTM pre-season quickest of all after leading an all Audi 1-2-3 ahead of Edoardo Mortara and Mattias Ekstrom.

Audi and BMW have ended the four-day test honours even, with both manufacturers having topped the times two days apiece - while Mercedes remained in close proximity.

Rockenfeller ensured Audi had the final say of the running after setting a 1 minute 33.197 lap around the German Grand Prix venue.

The 2013 DTM champion's time was only marginally better than his Audi stablemate Mortara in second as Team Abt's Ekstrom followed up a further two-tenths behind.

Incidentally, Ekstrom's time from the penultimate day of running [1 minute 32.964] still stands as the best effort set by anybody within the pre-season test.

Robert Wickens was the quickest Mercedes of the day in fourth ahead of Team Rosberg's Jamie Green, who completed the top-five almost 0.4's off Rockenfeller's pace.

Having led the first two days of testing, sixth was best BMW could manage on the final of running. Team Schnitzer's Antonio Felix da Costa was the driver to take the mantle of top M4 runner ahead of Tom Blomqvist in seventh.

Little over 0.5's could separate the top-ten order, with Paul di Resta, Augusto Farfus and Timo Scheider all falling under that bracket in eighth, ninth and tenth.
