Edoardo Mortara and Robert Wickens lead the way during the first DTM practice of the weekend to apply the pressure on championship leader Marco Wittmann at the Hungaroring.
Mortara and Wickens, who both sit second and third in the points standings behind BMW's Wittmann, paced the opening session with the Audi runner coming out on top to the tune of 0.165s.
Meanwhile, Wittmann could fare no better than eleventh, almost 0.7s off the pace at this early stage of proceedings.
Worryingly for BMW, not one M4 machine made the top-ten order with Team RMG's Wittmann proving the fastest of the championship leading fleet.
Nico Muller and Mattias Ekstrom made it three Audis to end FP1 in the top four while Mercedes occupied fifth to eighth.
Team Mucke's Lucas Auer completed the remainder of the top-five order ahead of Gary Paffett, Christian Vietoris and Felix Rosenqvist.
Miguel Molina and Jamie Green levelled the order up in ninth and tenth position, ensuring Mercedes and Audi both had five machines represented within the top-ten.
