Budapest DTM: Mortara keeps Audi on top at Budapest

Edoardo Mortara maintains his superb run of form at Budapest in the final DTM practice as Audi once again monopolise the top-ten.
Team Abt's Edoardo Mortara has maintained his imperious run of form at the Hungaroring by leading the way in the final DTM practice before qualifying for race two.

Mortara and Audi look in no mood to relinquish their grip on the Budapest weekend with all eight of the RS 5 contingent once again monopolising the top-ten order.

Now just 14-points behind championship leader Marco Wittmann, the Italian set the fastest time in FP3 by 0.156s ahead of Team Rosberg's Jamie Green.

Mortara and Green appear to be unseperable at the front as Team Phoenix's Timo Scheider completed the top-three ahead of fellow double champion Mattias Ekstrom.

Adrien Tambay was fifth aboard his Rosberg run Audi RS 5, marginally ahead of Miguel Molina in sixth.

The departing Antonio Felix da Costa proved the only driver capable of breaking the Audi chain after setting the seventh fastest time for BMW ahead of Mike Rockenfeller and Nico Muller.

HWA's Maximilian Gotz ended the session as Mercedes' top effort in tenth position.
