Bumper crowd expected for Eurospeedway.

As the DTM Championship enters its second race weekend of 2006 race organisers have announced advance ticket sales for Sunday's race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz are the event's best yet.

Event organisers ADAC Berlin-Brandenurg have said that more than 25,000 tickets have been sold, more than at the same point last year with 3,200 tickets going over the last week, in the run up to the race in the Niederlausitz region, a forty percent rise from 2005.

Last season 78,000 spectators passed through the gates over the race weekend at the EuroSpeedway and Hans Werner Aufrecht, Chairman of DTM organisers ITR e.V was understandably elated at the leap in popularity.

"Never before have we experienced such interest at a EuroSpeedway round," said Aufrecht, "I'm convinced that the fans are going to witness a fantastic DTM weekend."
